I've been working in recruitment for 20 years now. After graduating in Law at Manchester University I 'fell' into Legal recruitment much to the disappointment of my parents who had visions of me becoming a QC..at that time recruitment wasn't viewed as the 'profession' it is now. Being young and impetuous, however, I decided that it was a much easier way to make money as a 21 year old and thankfully I was right. I also quickly realised that I actually loved the job!

I set up divisions for two businesses in Legal, Financial Services/Insurance and Accountancy in my 20's, gaining rapid promotion with my first firm to Director before moving into recruitment to recruitment with the market leader at the time.

I set Ruth Moran Consulting up 16 years ago and still fee earn - it's my passion and even after all these years still gives me a huge amount of satisfaction. Many of our clients and candidates have 'grown up' with us and are also now people we would call friends. There's also no doubt that we have one of the strongest businesses in our market when it comes to network and reputation. Roles covered are from Consultant level through to C.E.O both nationally and internationally.

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my children George and Olivia, walking our dogs Chester and Pebbles, eating Indian food (my other passion) and travelling whenever possible to anywhere from Cape Town to Rome!

I've been working in recruitment since 1995. I started as a Branch Manager with ABC contract Services running a successful Industrial and Driving Office.

I then went on to run the BT Call Centre contract at Kelly Services managing over 700 call centre staff. I was headhunted from Kelly by Hays and stayed at Hays for 6 years as a Regional Manager building and developing a Logistics recruitment business from zero to five offices in 3 years.

After Hays, I had a complete change of sector and became Regional Manager of 8 Social Care offices for Reed Social Care managing over 70 staff and a T/O in excess of £25m per annum.

I strongly believe that my recruitment background and specific sector experience puts me ahead of my competitors in terms of understanding my clients needs and my candidates aspirations.

Outside of work my main passion and stress reliever is Manchester City. I have been a season ticket holder for over 30 years and still make the commute to Manchester for every home game, rain or shine. I also play the occasional game of golf (badly) and enjoy quarterly 'men only' golf trips without the wife, which is one of my top tips for a successful marriage.

I have been working in Recruitment for over 20 years and have gained experience in Agency, RPO and internal recruitment functions.

My career in agency started in a well-known high street agency and then to Accountancy and Finance covering clerical, part qualified and qualified accounting. I then moved to work for an RPO in Telecommunications and Retail where I progressed from Resourcing Advisor to Team Lead and finally Recruitment Business Partner in the Healthcare and Education sector.

As a ‘seasoned’ recruiter my move to Ruth Moran was the natural choice for me to build on my extensive experience and gives me the opportunity to work for an established name with a fantastic reputation in the market with other ‘seasoned’ professionals with circa 100 years recruitment experience jointly!

Outside of work I love to spend time with my daughter and travel overseas given the opportunity. I love to keep fit by running/jogging/walking depending on how energetic I am feeling! This enables me to eat as much food as possible and socialise with my friends and family which normally involves a wide variety of wine tasting!

I have worked within the Recruitment industry for 11 years now and during that time specialised within mainstream Engineering Recruitment initially.

Starting my career within Executive Search and Selection, with a recruitment consultancy which specialised in Engineering, Print and Packaging, I later moved into Recruitment to Recruitment and covered a range of sectors.

My focus is on Technical/Construction/Engineering Rec to Rec. I have had plenty of exposure to these sectors and understand the specifics in terms of experience needed when it comes to finding the perfect role or indeed the perfect candidate in those markets!

After enjoying maternity leave with my first child I decided to make the move to Ruth Moran Consulting to enhance and further my career with one of the most established rec to recs in the UK. A great name, with a fantastic reputation, between us we have around 100 years recruitment experience.

Outside of work I enjoy quality time with my son and family and like to do regular days out on the weekend! I go to the gym when I can, cook and bake on a regular basis and I find this very therapeutic!

I started my career in customer service at MY Travel UK as an Overseas Representative (based in Majorca) and was the go to person for all customer requirements. I then moved back to Manchester where I started at Hogg Robinson Group as a UK Rail Consultant before being promoted to a Business Travel Consultant. One of my main passions is travel so these roles were perfect for me at that time! I then relocated to Bury and my career moved into administration at 3663 Food Services as an Administration assistant for a national account in the UK. After some time in this position I made the big move into recruitment at Assist Resourcing! I’ve been working in the recruitment industry for the last 3 years providing administration support to consultants and clients. During this time I’ve dealt with a variety of different sectors located across the UK and internationally.

Here at Ruth Moran I look after the social media platforms and the research division. I am a dedicated, enthusiastic person who prides myself on my work.

Outside of work my main passions are spending time with my husband James and my two young children Bethany and Louisa, walking my dog Toby, socializing with friends, Traveling, getting lost in a good book and a regular gym session.
