Location: Leeds (Office-based, 5 days per week)

About the Role
We are a well-established and thriving Public Sector IT recruitment specialist with an urgent requirement for an experienced IT Tech Resourcer to join our busy candidate sourcing team in Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled resourcer to work exclusively within the Government and Policing sectors, supporting critical IT transformation initiatives across the UK.
This is a non-sales role focused entirely on candidate identification, engagement, and sourcing. You'll play a vital part in connecting top-tier IT contractors with high-profile public sector transformation projects.
What You'll Be Doing
- Source and identify experienced IT contractors specialising in interim project management and subject matter expertise
- Build and maintain a comprehensive network of IT professionals across various technical disciplines
- Conduct thorough candidate screening and qualification processes
- Support large-scale IT change and transformation projects across Government and Policing sectors
- Utilise multiple sourcing channels including job boards, social media, professional networks, and direct approach techniques
- Maintain accurate candidate records and pipeline management
- Collaborate closely with the wider recruitment team to ensure seamless candidate delivery
- Develop market intelligence and maintain awareness of industry trends within the public sector IT space
What We're Looking For
Essential Requirements:
- Proven experience in IT contractor recruitment and candidate sourcing
- Strong understanding of IT roles, particularly interim project managers and technical subject matter experts
- Experience working with contractors rather than permanent placements
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency with recruitment systems, databases, and sourcing tools
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Desirable:
- Previous experience within Public Sector or Government recruitment
- Knowledge of IT transformation and change management projects
- Understanding of security clearance requirements
- Familiarity with Government procurement processes
