Billing Manager – Shipping Recruitment Bristol Office | Full-Time | £Competitive + Individual & Team Commission

Are you a recruitment professional who thrives on closing deals and developing high-performing teams? We're seeking an experienced Billing Manager to lead our delivery-focused recruitment team specialising in the global shipping industry. Managers from any sector are welcome as the specific sector knowledge can be easily trained. 

About the Role

This is a hands-on leadership position where you'll drive results by supporting your team to successfully close vacancies while making your own personal billing contribution. With 40+ live roles landing each month, you'll ensure your team has the support they need to source, engage and place candidates efficiently whilst leading by example on the desk.

What You'll Be Doing

• Managing and motivating a team of recruitment consultants to close vacancies
• Providing practical support with candidate sourcing, screening and interview processes
• Guiding your team through the full recruitment lifecycle from initial brief to offer acceptance
• Leading by example with your own personal billings and placements
• Managing client and candidate relationships across different time zones
• Coaching your team on best practice for delivery and process management
• Ensuring consistent workflow across a busy desk with multiple live vacancies

What We're Looking For

• Proven track record in recruitment with strong billing history
• Experience managing or mentoring recruitment consultants
• Hands-on approach with ability to support on sourcing and screening
• Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills
• Ability to balance team management with personal contribution
• Strong telephone engagement and relationship-building skills
• For those covering US markets: flexibility to work 11am-8pm shifts. Normal hours for those working the UK and European market.
