Recruitment Consultant – Quantitative Analytics, Research & Trading
London (Hybrid following onboarding) | Full 360 Billing Role | OTE £100k+
Are you an experienced recruitment consultant with a passion for quantitative finance and a proven track record in a highly specialist, relationship-led market? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where your expertise, network, and commercial instincts set you apart? If so, we want to hear from you.
The Opportunity
We are looking for a driven and commercially minded Recruitment Consultant to join our team, specialising in the Transformational Quantitative Analytics, Research & Trading talent space. This is a full 360 role with real earning potential — an OTE of over £100k supported by one of the most generous commission structures in the industry.
You'll be working with some of the most prestigious and intellectually stimulating clients in global financial markets, including Investment Banks, Hedge Funds, Proprietary Trading Firms, Asset Managers, and Financial Technology Institutions. Your candidate pool will be equally impressive — from Systematic Traders, Execution Quants, and Portfolio Managers with the ability to generate alpha and manage risk across asset classes, to highly skilled Developers and Engineers specialising in Python, C++, and Java who build and optimise the infrastructure underpinning cutting-edge quant strategies.
What You'll Be Doing
This is a genuine full 360 billing role, meaning you'll own the full recruitment lifecycle — from identifying and developing new client relationships to sourcing, engaging, and placing top-tier quantitative finance talent. Business development is a core part of the position, so you'll be proactively building your client base, attending industry events, and positioning yourself as a trusted market expert. Relationships are at the heart of how we work, and your ability to build rapport and develop long-term partnerships with clients and candidates alike will be central to your success.
What We're Looking For
We're after someone who already understands this world. You'll bring demonstrable experience working within quantitative finance, systematic trading, or a closely related specialist recruitment market. You'll know how to hold a credible conversation with a quant researcher or a head of trading technology, and you'll understand what separates a good hire from a transformative one for these firms.
Beyond the technical knowledge, you'll be commercially driven, resilient, and genuinely passionate about building a business. You'll be comfortable managing a full desk — developing clients, headhunting candidates, and negotiating at senior levels — and you'll have the hunger to grow your billings and your reputation in the market.
The Setup
The role is based at our London office. You'll complete your onboarding and training in-house before transitioning to a hybrid working arrangement, giving you the foundation and flexibility to perform at your best.
Why Join Us
Our commission scheme is genuinely market-leading, with an OTE exceeding £100k that is very much achievable. More than the money, you'll be joining a business that takes its specialist positioning seriously — we invest in our consultants, back them with excellent research and infrastructure support, and give them the autonomy to build and own their market.
