US - FINANCIAL SERVICES RECRUITMENT CONSULTANT — SAVINGS & INVESTMENTS
London | Hybrid Working | Remuneration DOE on Previous Billings
ABOUT US
We are the leading provider of talent solutions for the Financial & Professional Services sectors, connecting exceptional talent with world-class organisations across the United States. Through our deep market understanding, integrity, and expertise, we shape careers, build businesses, and leave a lasting impact.
With a well-established presence covering the US Savings & Investments market, we have built an enviable reputation — trusted by some of the most respected names in American financial services to deliver the talent that drives their businesses forward. Our consultants are sector specialists, not generalists, and our clients know the difference.
THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced Financial Services Recruitment Consultant to join our highly successful US-focused Savings & Investments desk in London. This is a rare opportunity to inherit a well-established client base and candidate network spanning the United States, while bringing your own relationships and new business acumen to an already thriving desk.
You will work with a broad range of clients across the US Savings & Investments landscape — from independent RIAs and broker-dealers to global asset managers, custodial platforms, and insurance-linked savings providers — placing specialist talent at all levels across key US financial hubs including New York, Boston, Chicago, San Francisco, and beyond.
This is a role for a proven recruiter who knows this market, understands its regulatory and commercial nuances, and can hit the ground running.
THE TALENT YOU'LL PLACE
You'll be sourcing and placing professionals across the full breadth of the US Savings & Investments sector, including:
Wealth Management & Financial Planning
- Registered Investment Advisers (RIAs) & CFPs
- Wealth Managers & Private Client Advisors
- Financial Planning Directors & Practice Managers
- Family Office Advisors & Ultra-High-Net-Worth Specialists
Asset & Investment Management
- Portfolio Managers & Fund Managers
- Investment Analysts & Equity Research Analysts
- Client Relationship Managers & Investment Directors
- Hedge Fund & Alternative Investment Specialists
Platforms, Distribution & Operations
- Platform Specialists & Custodian Relationship Managers
- Wholesalers & Regional Sales Directors
- Operations Managers & Chief Compliance Officers (CCOs)
- Product Managers & FinTech Integration Specialists
Retirement, Insurance & Savings
- 401(k) & Defined Contribution Specialists
- Retirement Plan Consultants & Actuaries
- Annuity & Insurance Product Specialists
- Employee Benefits Directors & DC Consultants
Senior & Executive Appointments
- Heads of Distribution & National Sales Directors
- Chief Investment Officers (CIOs) & Managing Directors
- C-Suite, Board-Level & Private Equity-Backed Leadership
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Manage and grow a well-established desk focused on the US Savings & Investments market
- Proactively win new business and develop long-term client relationships across the United States
- Navigate US market dynamics, including regulatory frameworks such as SEC, FINRA, and ERISA
- Source, engage and qualify candidates using the latest AI-powered tools
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from brief to placement across multiple US time zones
- Build and maintain a high-quality pipeline of active and passive US-based talent
- Provide genuine market insight and consultative advice to clients and candidates
- Represent the business as a trusted specialist in the US Financial Services talent market
AI & AUTOMATION TOOLKIT
You'll be equipped with the latest AI-powered recruitment and automation platforms — from intelligent candidate sourcing and engagement workflows to data-driven market intelligence. Our investment in technology means you spend less time on process and more time building the relationships that matter across a competitive and fast-moving US market.
ABOUT YOU
This role requires a recruiter with genuine, demonstrable experience in US Financial Services recruitment — specifically within Savings, Investments, or closely adjacent sectors. You will be comfortable engaging clients and candidates across the United States, confident in business development conversations at senior levels, and capable of managing a complex, relationship-led transatlantic desk.
- Proven experience recruiting within US Financial Services — Savings, Investments, Wealth Management or closely related sectors — essential
- Demonstrable track record of winning and retaining new clients in the US market
- Strong existing network within the US financial services community
- Familiarity with the US regulatory environment (SEC, FINRA, ERISA) and market structure
- Ability to operate consultatively with senior and C-suite stakeholders across US time zones
- Commercially astute with a disciplined, relationship-first approach
- Ambitious, self-motivated and comfortable managing a fast-paced international desk
- Prior experience working US hours or in a transatlantic recruitment role is a strong advantage
WHAT WE OFFER
- Highly competitive base salary and commission package structured around your previous billings — uncapped earnings potential
- Hybrid working — flexible split between our London office and home
- An established, warm desk with an existing US client base and live roles from day one
- The backing and reputation of a market-leading brand in Financial & Professional Services
- A genuinely specialist, high-quality environment where your expertise is valued
- Long-term career development within a business with a growing transatlantic footprint
