THE ROLE

This is a hands-on, full 360° recruitment consultancy role focused exclusively on the finance and accounting sector across the North West. You'll be working with a broad range of commerce and industry clients — building relationships, winning new business, and making quality permanent placements that make a genuine difference to the businesses and candidates you work with.

You'll be given access to a strong suite of tools and a market-leading CRM to help you identify, engage and convert your target audience — but make no mistake, this role is about people, not just process. The ability to build trust quickly and sustain long-term relationships is what sets our best consultants apart.

  • Part-Qualified Accountants (AAT, CIMA, ACCA studiers)
  • Assistant Management Accountants & Finance Assistants

Qualified & Mid-Level

  • Management Accountants & Financial Accountants
  • Newly Qualified Accountants (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
  • Finance Business Partners & Commercial Analysts
  • Credit Controllers & Treasury Analysts

Senior & Leadership

  • Financial Controllers & Group Financial Controllers
  • Finance Managers & Finance Directors
  • Chief Financial Officers (CFOs)
  • Head of Finance & Divisional Finance Leads

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Proactively win new clients across the North West commerce and industry market
  • Manage and develop an existing client base, deepening relationships over time
  • Manage the full 360° recruitment process from business development to placement
  • Source, engage and qualify finance and accounting candidates at all levels
  • Conduct thorough candidate interviews and provide honest, consultative guidance
  • Negotiate salaries, offers and terms with confidence and professionalism
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records across our CRM platform
  • Consistently deliver an exceptional level of service to clients and candidates alike
  • Represent the business with integrity at all times

TOOLS & TECHNOLOGY

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for an experienced recruiter who knows what good looks like and is ready to bring that to a business that will back them fully. You'll need to be resilient, driven, and genuinely passionate about delivering for your clients and candidates.

  • Proven experience in recruitment, ideally within finance, accounting or professional services
  • Demonstrable track record of winning new clients and building lasting relationships
  • Strong record of making quality permanent placements
  • Excellent negotiation skills — comfortable discussing terms, fees and salaries at all levels
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple roles and relationships simultaneously
  • Determined and resilient — you don't give up when it gets competitive
  • A natural communicator who puts relationships at the heart of everything they do
  • Knowledge of the North West commerce and industry market is a strong advantage
