Senior Recruitment Consultant – Healthcare Interim & Operations
Location: London | Sector: UK Private Healthcare & NHS | Desk: Warm – Existing Client Base
Are you an experienced recruitment consultant ready to take the next step in your career? We're looking for a driven and personable Senior Recruitment Consultant to join our specialist team placing Interim and Permanent Operational and Project & Programme Management professionals across the UK healthcare sector.
This is a genuine opportunity to step into a warm desk with an established client base spanning both NHS organisations and private healthcare providers — so you'll be billing from day one, not starting from scratch.

The Role
You'll be working on a specialist desk focused on Operational and Project & Programme Management talent, placing professionals from mid-management through to Board and Director level. You'll work both interim and permanent assignments, giving you real variety in your day-to-day.
Interim roles typically carry day rates of £250–£450 per day, with permanent positions ranging from £60,000 to £100,000 — and at the senior end of the market, salaries and rates reflect that seniority accordingly.
As you settle in and grow your confidence with the desk, you'll have the opportunity to take on more senior mandates at Director and Board level, with full support from the team around you.
What You'll Be Doing
Managing and developing an existing portfolio of client relationships across NHS and private healthcare. Running end-to-end recruitment processes for both interim and permanent positions. Sourcing, engaging and advising specialist candidates at mid-to-senior management level. Building your own network within the healthcare operations and transformation space. Working collaboratively with a team that genuinely supports each other.
What We're Looking For
Proven experience in recruitment, ideally within healthcare, operations, or a professional services specialism. A track record of managing client relationships and delivering quality hires. Comfortable operating at a professional level with senior stakeholders. Someone who takes pride in the quality of their work, not just the volume. Ambitious, self-motivated, and genuinely interested in the healthcare sector.
Experience in interim recruitment is advantageous but not essential — what matters most is your attitude, your work ethic, and your ability to build lasting relationships.
