About Our Client
We are delighted to be partnering with an established and highly regarded technology recruitment agency based in London. With a strong track record across a range of specialist tech disciplines and a loyal, growing client base, our client is now looking to add an experienced recruitment consultant to their team to drive their financial services practice forward across European markets.
The Role
Our client is offering a genuinely exciting opportunity to join a warm desk with existing clients already in place. This is not a start-from-scratch role — there is real billing potential from day one — however, the successful candidate will also be expected to proactively develop new business and win financial services clients across Europe.
You will deliver both permanent and interim contractor recruitment solutions, working across our client's core technology disciplines, with the support of an experienced, collaborative team behind you.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a portfolio of existing financial services clients
- Drive new business development to expand the client base across European markets
- Place permanent and contract/interim technology professionals across disciplines including Salesforce, Data & Analytics, Cloud, DevOps, Software Development and SAP
- Build and maintain a strong candidate network within your specialist area
- Work towards and consistently exceed individual billing targets
About You
- Proven experience as a recruitment consultant within the technology sector
- A track record of billing against both permanent and/or contractor recruitment targets
- Confident and capable in business development — comfortable picking up the phone and opening doors with new clients
- Experience working with or selling into financial services clients would be a strong advantage
- Familiarity with one or more of the core tech disciplines listed above is desirable
- Proficiency in a European language would be a distinct advantage, though this is not essential
