Senior Recruitment Consultant – Finance & Accounting | Manchester City Centre

Are you an experienced recruitment consultant ready to take your career to the next level? We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Recruitment Consultant to join our thriving Finance & Accounting division, based in our Manchester city centre office.

We are a well-established recruitment business with multiple offices across the UK, and we are entering an exciting period of growth. Our Finance & Accounting team covers the North of England, partnering with commerce and industry businesses to place exceptional talent at all levels.

The Role

You will be joining an established, high-performing desk with an existing client base ready for you to hit the ground running. This is a 360-degree recruitment role covering either interim and contract placements, permanent appointments, or both, depending on your background and expertise.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Developing and growing relationships with an existing portfolio of clients across the North of England
• Winning new business through proactive business development, including cold calling, networking, and attending client meetings
• Sourcing high-quality Finance & Accounting candidates through a variety of methods including job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, headhunting, and your own network
• Managing the full recruitment process from taking a brief through to offer stage and beyond
• Building a strong candidate pipeline within the commerce and industry sector
• Consistently achieving and exceeding billing targets

About You

• Proven experience in recruitment consultancy, ideally within Finance & Accounting or a related professional services discipline
• A track record of winning new clients and generating your own business
• Experience of placing candidates in either interim, contract, or permanent roles
• Strong candidate sourcing skills across multiple channels
• Commercially minded with excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Driven, resilient, and motivated by results
