Recruitment Consultant – IT & Technology | Birmingham City Centre

Are you an experienced recruitment consultant with a passion for technology hiring? We have an exciting opportunity for a Recruitment Consultant to join our growing IT & Technology division, based in our Birmingham city centre office.

We are a well-established recruitment business with multiple offices across the UK, and we are entering an exciting period of growth. Our IT & Technology team covers the Midlands and beyond, partnering with commerce and industry businesses to place exceptional technology talent at all levels.

The Role

You will be joining an established, high-performing desk with an existing client base ready for you to hit the ground running. This is an interim and contract focused recruitment role, placing technology professionals across Infrastructure, Data, and Software Development disciplines.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Developing and growing relationships with an existing portfolio of clients across the Midlands
• Winning new business through proactive business development, including cold calling, networking, and attending client meetings
• Sourcing high-quality IT and Technology contractors across Infrastructure, Data, and Software Development through a variety of methods including job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, headhunting, and your own network
• Managing the full recruitment process from taking a brief through to offer and on-boarding
• Building and maintaining a strong contractor pipeline across your specialist disciplines
• Consistently achieving and exceeding billing targets

About You

• A minimum of 2 years experience in recruitment consultancy, working on an IT or Technology desk
• Proven experience placing interim and contract professionals across one or more of the following disciplines: Technology Infrastructure, Data, or Software Development
• A track record of winning new clients and generating your own business
• Strong candidate sourcing skills across multiple channels
• Commercially minded with excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Driven, resilient, and motivated by results
