Senior Recruitment Consultant – Public Sector Finance Permanent & Interim | UK-wide | 100% Remote
The Opportunity
We're a well-established, management-owned recruitment agency with a singular focus: placing finance professionals across the UK public sector. Our senior leadership team are active consultants themselves — hands-on, approachable, and genuinely invested in the success of every desk.
We're growing, and we're looking for a senior consultant who wants to do meaningful work without the noise. No bloated targets, no KPI dashboards, no micromanagement. Just experienced people doing excellent recruitment in a sector they know and care about.
The Sectors You'll Work Across
We cover the full breadth of UK public sector and not-for-profit organisations, including NHS and healthcare, central and local government, regulatory bodies, universities, colleges and schools, charities, membership organisations, housing associations, trusts and care providers. We operate across both temporary contractor and permanent placement markets.

We're on all the major public sector frameworks, which means you'll have access to live, active roles from your very first day. You're not building from scratch — you're stepping into a business with genuine market presence and an established client base.
Commission & Reward
Our commission scheme is genuinely one of the best in the market. There's no monthly threshold to clear before you start earning — your very first placement pays. You'll receive up to 30% of what we invoice, across both temporary and permanent roles.
How We Work
We don't track call volumes, CV submissions, or LinkedIn activity. We operate an outcome-driven model — trusting our consultants to have meaningful, relevant conversations with clients and candidates at the right moment. Quality of engagement matters far more than quantity of activity.
What We're Looking For
- Proven track record in recruitment, ideally with exposure to public sector, finance, or interim markets
- Comfortable running a desk with real autonomy — you manage your time, your relationships, your results
- A strong communicator who values quality conversations over high-volume outreach
- Self-organised and mature in your approach — you don't need to be managed closely to perform
- Experience placing both temporary contractors and permanent professionals is a strong advantage
- Sector knowledge in public sector finance, not-for-profit or NHS is highly desirable, though candidates with adjacent experience and a fast learning curve will be considered
