Senior Recruitment Consultant — Finance & Accounting Manchester based and focused on the North West & Wider UK | Permanent & Temporary | Hybrid

The Opportunity

We are one of the fastest-growing specialist recruitment agencies in the Finance and Accounting sector, and we are looking for an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join our expanding team.

This is a genuine opportunity to build something — with the support, tools, and infrastructure to do it properly. We work with a broad range of businesses across the North West and wider UK, placing finance and accounting professionals at every level, from part-qualified and newly qualified accountants through to senior finance leaders and CFOs. We recruit across both permanent and temporary positions, so whether you have a background in perm, temp, or both, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Managing a full 360 recruitment desk across Finance and Accounting roles
  • Winning new clients through proactive business development, including outbound calling and booking face-to-face client visits
  • Building and sustaining strong, long-term relationships with both clients and candidates
  • Attending client and candidate meetings throughout the week, including on your work-from-home days — we are a relationship-driven business and face-to-face meetings are a core part of how we work
  • Developing a thorough understanding of your clients' hiring needs and business environments
  • Working collaboratively within a high-performing, supportive team

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience as a recruitment consultant — Finance and Accounting sector experience is advantageous but not essential
  • A demonstrable track record of winning new business through business development activity
  • Confidence picking up the phone, booking meetings, and getting in front of decision makers
  • The drive and resilience to build and grow a desk in a competitive market
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Experience in either temporary, permanent, or both types of recruitment is welcome
