Recruitment Consultant – Data & Analytics / IT
Location: London (Hybrid – 3 days office / 2 days home) Salary: Competitive base + uncapped commission (DOE)
The Company
Our client is a well-established, award-winning technology recruitment consultancy with over 20 years' experience delivering talent solutions across the tech sector. Known for a genuinely people-first culture, they build long-term relationships with both clients and candidates rather than chasing quick placements — and it shows in their results and retention rates.
This is a business that celebrates success together. Team wins are shared wins, and every member of the team — not just top billers — is included in company trips away. If you want to join a consultancy where culture isn't just a buzzword on a careers page, this is worth a conversation.
The Role
We're looking for a Recruitment Consultant with a minimum of 12 months' experience working within an external recruitment agency to join a high-performing, close-knit team. You'll take ownership of your own desk, working across the full recruitment lifecycle from business development through to offer management.
Experience recruiting within Data & Analytics is highly desirable, but candidates with a strong track record across any IT/technology recruitment sector (e.g. Engineering, Cyber Security, Infrastructure, Cloud, Development) will be seriously considered.
What You'll Be Doing
- Proactively identifying and winning new business, building a pipeline of client relationships from scratch
- Managing the end-to-end recruitment process for live vacancies, from briefing through to placement
- Sourcing, screening and managing candidates through a consultative, relationship-led approach
- Negotiating terms of business and managing ongoing client accounts
- Working collaboratively with the wider team to share market insight, leads and referrals
- Contributing to a positive, high-energy team culture where wins are celebrated together
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 12 months' experience working in an external/agency recruitment environment (essential — internal/in-house recruitment experience alone won't meet this requirement)
- A genuine track record of business development and new client acquisition
- Experience recruiting within Data & Analytics is a strong advantage; broader IT/tech recruitment experience is welcomed
- A consultative, relationship-focused approach to both clients and candidates
- Resilience, drive and a genuine appetite for hitting and exceeding targets
- A team player who thrives in a collaborative, sociable environment
What's On Offer
- Hybrid working: 3 days in the office, 2 days from home
- A supportive, sociable team culture — regular team wins celebrated together, and company trips away that include the whole team
- Uncapped commission structure
- Genuine progression opportunities within a growing, well-regarded consultancy
- The chance to work within a specialist, established brand with a strong reputation in the technology market
