Recruitment Consultant – Permanent Finance & Accountancy Placements
Leeds | Up to £35,000 basic salary + uncapped commission

About Us

We are one of Yorkshire and the North's leading independent recruitment consultancies. We're growing our specialist Permanent Placements desk, focused on part qualified finance and accountancy professionals, and looking for a driven Recruitment Consultant to join our Leeds office.

The Role

You'll manage the full 360 recruitment process, sourcing, screening and placing part qualified finance and accountancy professionals into permanent positions across Yorkshire. This is a fast-paced, high-volume desk where regular placements are the norm, not the exception.

You do not need finance or accounting sector experience. What matters is that you have at least 12 months' experience in an external recruitment agency, working with commercial office professionals at any level, and that you're comfortable combining business development with candidate delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Candidate management, including calls and registrations
• Client management, including calls and meetings
• Advertising, response handling and screening
• Networking, both external and internal, including hosting your own events
• Shortlisting and presentation of shortlists
• PSL management and conversion
• Interview allocation and preparation
• Offer management and negotiation
• Key account management

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 12 months' experience in an external recruitment agency
• A track record that includes business development, not just candidate delivery
• Experience recruiting for commercial office professionals, at any level
• No finance or accounting sector background required
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
• Self-motivated, resilient and target-driven
